Constantina Kottaridi

Professor of Economics | Director of the MSc and Laboratory in Bioeconomy | Circular Economy and Sustainable Development

Constantina Kottaridi is an Economist (MSc, PhD), Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Piraeus and Founder and Director of the MSc Program in Bioeconomy, Circular Economy and Sustainable Development and Founder and Director of the Bioeconomy, Circular Economy and Sustainable Development Laboratory at this University. She is an Adjunct Professor at the Hellenic Open University and the Open University Cyprus. She owns the position of the Executive Director at the International Academic Society  “Athenian Policy Forum” since 2018.

She owns a BSc from the Department of Economics of Athens University of Economics and Business, MSc. in Economics with a Minor in Statistics from the Department of Economics at Iowa State University, USA, with full scholarship, where she was also a Teaching Assistant and a Lecturer and a PhD from the Department of International and European Economic Studies of Athens University of Economics and Business.

She has served as a member of the Steering Committee of the Hellenic Open University, and she has also served as a Special Adviser to the Minister of Education in Greece. She was a national representative at the Board of the International Academic Community “European International Business Academy” from 2015 until 2021 when she fulfilled her duties.
